Traditional Hatha Yoga

Yoga is a vast knowledge bank including powerful practices that can change perspective and transform the way one decides to live. In it’s original form, it can help one achieve the body they want, gain control over the mechanics of the mind and reverse many ailments.

The 8 limbs of Yoga in Sage Patanjali’s YogaSutra elaborates on how to live in harmony with oneself and with the environment around them, both personal and universal. While some of the limbs are codes of universal and personal conduct, some limbs or pillars are directly related to gaining mastery over the mind and body through Asana [physical practice], Pranayama [Generation of Energy & breath work] and various stages of meditation.

A traditional class encompasses all three in it’s daily practice. In- depth exercise, deep breathing and relaxation, and an eventual sense of stillness and peace. Bringing balance and harmony to everyday living.

Slowly one makes the transition from an energy deficit life to that one of health surplus.
